Scroll Paintings

I love the water color (or ink) usage of these. The colors and strokes are soft and blended like a faded memory, or something. And the way the season differentiate are so beautifully displayed! Especially since we don't get much of a change in seasons here.

I really like the distinct strokes of this one, and the image itself. It's very unique but simple and shows a lot of quiet beauty.

I just think this piece is an interesting idea. Since we have such a big canvas to work with, we don't have to have just one big subject-- a road like this would suffice as well. It sort of tells a story, and I like that.

This is yet another piece that I love the simplicity of, but also enjoy the uniqueness that comes with it.

I REALLY like this one. Something about it is striking and fascinating--even with it's lack of color. It's gorgeous without being flashy.
